The Department of Dermatology at SRHU observed National Leprosy Day on 30th January 2025 with a series of awareness activities aimed at educating patients and the public about leprosy.

A poster display highlighted common signs, symptoms, and facts to dispel myths about the disease. Postgraduate students presented an awareness skit for OPD patients, emphasizing early detection, treatment, and social acceptance. The interactive session encouraged open discussions, addressing patients' queries.

Interns and undergraduate students played an active role in organizing the event, contributing to its success. The initiative was well-received, reinforcing the importance of early diagnosis and treatment in eliminating leprosy.
